Plankton may be tiny, but they play a huge role in the ocean ecosystem. Join us and the Puget Sound Estuarium to discover diverse plankton under a microscope, create beautiful plankton decorations, and more!
Bringing Books to Life
Take a look in a book and then bring it to life! Build a hungry caterpillar, go fishing for red fish and blue fish, and enjoy other projects based on classic children’s books. You may even earn a cookie like a certain literary mouse!

When Life Gives You Lemons
If lemons can be turned into lemonade, why not turn wastewater into something great too? Come sip some sweet lemonade and learn how we recover wastewater resources through hands-on activities, from sand art bottles to biosolid flower planters.

Bring on the butterflies! Join us and City of Olympia Park Stewards to create colorful crafts and build a butterfly feeder to invite pretty pollinators to your yard.
